Can I help with talk assignments while I am visiting?
Since we are a small congregation, at times we could use help at midweek meetings. If you are coming to Thailand for several weeks or more and would like to participate, please send us an email so we can put you in touch with our CLM overseer.
Can someone pick me up for the meeting?
This may be possible, but should not be relied on for your visit here. Your hotel or a simple internet search can provide numerous taxi and private driver options. Also see the page GETTING AROUND.
Changes to schedule
Occasionally, in the case of an assembly, CO visit, or flooding, we may change the meeting schedule. If in doubt, please contact a local friend to ask or CONTACT US.
What is the standard of dress for meetings and ministry?
On this hot tropical island, it’s possible that the norms for dress may differ from what you are accustomed to.
- Suit jackets are optional (even when on the platform)
- Brothers typically wear pants/trousers with a button-up shirt and close-toed shoes
- Some sisters wear pants/trousers, as this is a safer option when on motorbike/scooter
Can I go to a Thai meeting also?
Of course! See the schedule on this page. In addition to Thai brothers and sisters, there are also foreigners, some of whom speak English.
